Hi I am Lucie. I am a Graduate Sports Rehabilitator graduating with an MSc from Cardiff Metropolitan University. I am based at V1 and V2 and have been involved since V1 was 6 months old. I provide regular clinics for injury assessment, rehabilitation programmes, sports massage, medical acupuncture, event prep and sport specific training programmes
Outside of my clinic I was an Academy Therapist for Bristol Bears Rugby for seven seasons covering training and match days with pitch side medical cover, I now work as one of the Lead medics for England Rugby's U18 regional player development programme. I work as an associate lecturer at the University of the West of England along with being a volunteer physio assistant at the Matt Hampson Foundation spinal rehabilitation centre up in Leicester.
Outside of clinic I treat horses (and run regular rider injury clinics) and that ties in with a lifelong love for horses and riding, In my spare time.
In addition to my MSc, I have Postgraduate Certificate in Equine Performance and Rehabilitation from Hartpury University. Part of the RFU PHICIS (Prehospital Immediate Care in Sport) faculty and recently started research into endometriosis and exercise in both elite and amateur female athletes.
I am passionate about the benefits of my profession and working with individuals to help improve performance, prevent injury and aid recovery.
