I have been coaching and developing people for most of my adult life in one way or another and in 2015 my passion for coaching and a love of CrossFit collided when we opened our doors.
As far as I can remember I have always been interested in exercise and have played a whole host of team sports…hockey, football, rugby as well as tennis, squash and athletics.
I’m originally from Pembrokeshire and have now lived in Bath for almost 12 years. When I’m not training or coaching at Valesco, I’m either working for Apple where I look after the Operations in our Bristol store
After taking part in the Valesco Coaching Internship, I am one of the latest additions to the coaching team and I love it! I have a background in fitness, having worked previously as a personal trainer in a regular environment.
I started CrossFit in 2012 when I was living in New Zealand. A friend persuaded me to go on a taster session to something I’d never heard of, but from that very first session I knew I was hooked!
I’m a coach at Valesco and I started my Crossfit journey towards the end of 2017. I am really passionate about my training and Crossfit is the best and most complete sport I’ve ever done. I love it.
I’ve been doing CrossFit since 2015 and started coaching in 2019. I first trained at a gym near London and it only took me one session to fall in love with the sport. It’s the first ‘hobby’ I’ve ever been truly passionate about.
I’m a new addition to the coaching team here at Valesco having just completed the coaching Internship (July 2021)! My CrossFit journey started in 2018 when I was living and working in London as a musician.
My passion for sport and fitness really started when I joined the Army at the age of 18. Over the last 25 years I’ve competed at Regimental and Army level in running, swimming (including a relay Channel crossing), Ironman and double Ironman distance triathlon and more recently Army CrossFit.
