Successorize with Stew
The year is 2020. A virus named after a beer is taking over the world. People have been quarantined and are being forced to stay in isolation for months…..
This sounds like a film, but unfortunately it is the reality we all find ourselves in.
However. Fear not, there are loads of successories we can be working on to get the most out of our ‘downtime’. How often have you found yourself saying ‘ I really should work on that..’, ‘ this is a real weakness’, ‘I’m sh*t at this’. Well good news! Now is the time. The list is endless, but you could work on your balance, core strength, handstands, push ups, mobility, double unders.
Most people do not enjoy things they are rubbish at. This is a fact of life. It is human nature. Unfortunately, in order to get better at something, you have to practice. It doesn’t have to make you miserable though. This is very important. Make it fun and achievable. Challenge a friend to do it with you.
So, here is my challenge to you:
Pick one thing you want to get better at. Set yourself the task of working on it for a month. Be realistic, and consistent! 5-10 minutes. 2-3 times a week is great, but not if you only manage it for a week. Once a week for 5 minutes is better than no minutes. Do bear in mind that you will only get out what you put in though.
Feel free to contact me, or any of the other coaches for specifics.

Anthony (aka Tony's) Basic Mediterranean Tomato Sauce
A versatile, super-easy to make basic sauce. It can be pimped up (or ‘meafed up’ – as Peanut would say..) to suit your taste or available ingredients!
We generally have some of this cooked and in the fridge most of the time as a ‘go-to’ lunch or quick teas (that’s an evening meal if you’re posh). It keeps well and can also be frozen. We tend to have it as it is or pimped up with bacon or chorizo. Served with either rice or pasta alongside a whacking (massive) salad (mixed leaves, grated carrot, sliced onion and a balsamic vinegar/olive oil dressing – 1 TBS of each mixed together).
You can use this sauce to create other meal options. For example, it works well as an accompaniment to meat, like pork steak, chicken breast, meatballs or even halloumi. We also regularly use it as a brunch option with a poached egg plonked on top of the sauce and rice!

-
Olive oil into a saucepan or casserole dish on a moderate heat (if you are pimping up then put your chorizo/bacon in now and fry off for a few minutes)

-
Add both tins of tomatoes, the tomato puree, and the mixed herbs
-
Season with salt and pepper to taste
-
Stir well and reduce to heat to a gentle simmer and cook for 15 mins
