Let us start by telling you that if you give Functional Fitness a go via our Learn to Lift course you will not be disappointed! Whether you are looking to get fitter or stronger, find a sport to compete in or just have fun learning something new, we promise to deliver all that and more!

The purpose of our 'Learn to Lift course' is to introduce anyone new to Functional Fitness to the fundamental skills and movements that form the basis of our classes, explain our training methodology and give you guidance on how you can get the most out of us and your training. It is also a great opportunity for you to meet some new people who may well become your workout buddies and it’s a chance for you to get to know us too. We are big on community – we’re all friends who train together and we love it!

Our Learn to Lift courses take place weekly across all three sites so if you’re keen to get started please contact us ASAP to jump on the next upcoming course!

  • I used to get really anxious about going to the gym and especially about lifting weights, but now I can’t wait to go and work out at Valesco Fitness Collective. The coaches are super supportive and the community is so lovely - everyone just wants the best for each other! No matter what level of fitness or ability you have, you are guided through all movements and workouts, so that you can give everything a go at your own pace! I’m now lifting weights I never thought I would lift, trying new skills on a weekly basis and can really see the progress after only a few months. The best community - I love it!

  • Having joined Valesco Brislington in the summer, I can safely say this is my favourite gym to date! I have been a member of other functional fitness gyms previously but this one is so welcoming to everyone of all abilities and all of the coaches are lovely! Having felt like I hit a brick wall on my gym training, this was just the refresh and motivation I needed! If you’re thinking of joining then I highly recommend!
